Leather Jacket Pattern

Bakersfield - Finally it goes on!

Moin moin,

today I log out of the now sunny again Baker Field. The bad weather period is hopefully only once over, so that we can now also on the Central Valley are stepping on the gas with our performances.

As we show here in Bakersfield so with another BiG Pack 1290 HDP, we used the opportunity last week, and pressed with this news a few test balls. Not that I'm a product of the Kronenburg not trust - in El Centro we have also just started with a demonstration - only we have used in this press additional equipment from Harvest Tec.
And although we now have in addition a moisture measuring device and an applicator installed, so that we can not completely under optimal Conditions can press. And this additional allocation, I would have previously been tested at least once, so I'm familiar with it.

The moisture measuring device works as follows:
continuously between two star wheels on the right and left side of the bale chamber, the electrical resistance measured in the ball. The calculated moisture value is then displayed on the terminal in the cab - and once in the form of a bar chart for the last 90 seconds of pressing - each bar represents three seconds - and even as the average for the last bales. As a check with a handheld moisture meter has shown, the system is very accurate.
The applicator (dispenser) may then as required acid (silage) are added to prevent the spread harmful fungi in the ball. Thus, a pressing up to 30% humidity is possible - otherwise you have to wait at least until the hay has only 16% humidity.
offers in the next stage of Harvest Tec then still a 'tagger' system in which each bale is fitted with a microchip. Then all this information as Pressort, producer, moisture during pressing, weight (if connected to a scale as on the ball collection vehicles) etc. are stored, and may at any time be read with an appropriate hand-held scanner. Especially for export regions this system an excellent detection and tracking ability, in the event of complaints about the quality dar. The tagger is not currently installed on our press.

After Monday night during the test run as expected, went very well and I am also with the Harvest Tec accessories as well as the Case Puma had done something familiar was the first demonstration in the Central Valley that is no more obstacles. Correct - Case Puma 195 is now my tractor. But fear not, the JCB, it is still very good. Only our dealers also containing Case dealers, and understandably wants his brand of tractors on this occasion promote something. For us that means that we save on the JCB hours - not the worst.

Tuesday morning we met up at 5:45 on the clock box, and then shortly thereafter started at a suitable moisture with the demonstration. Pressed, we have a mixture of wheat and oats. Actually, the field should consist solely of wheat, and harvested at the appropriate time with the combine, yet the dry March and April, the wet wheat and oats the unwanted from the previous year can be so high that customers will ado has decided to mow the field and sell the material as hay.

Shortly before the actual screening was then our 'cradle tractor'. Since the Puma has no front hydraulics, this solution was needed. But the construction of the scale I had already considered this potential problem and the scale together with the superb help from our testing department tractor-independent and universally designed to be used.

And since the distance something greater, and the tractors are a bit slower, you have to be considered for the Truck Transport decided.

The balance definitely works in the rear hydraulics also very good - so good that the customer wanted to buy the same. And is a nice side effect of this divide in solution that can already outweigh colleagues, while I still press. Unfortunately I can not show you this photos of the actual pressing, as I once again all the time sitting on the tractor, and has made no photos.
to result only this: We have perfectly shaped bales (96 inch = 2.4 m) with 1720 lbs (780 kg) at about 17% moisture up to 1410 lbs (640 kg) at 8-10% moisture made. The also in the same field propelled Hesston press has just 1050 lbs (475 kg) achieved. The customer was so delighted with our BiG Pack 1290 HDP, he has also still the same during pressing, given over the phone on.
Only the 195-hp Case Puma was on the hilly area in part to its love misery broke the speed uphill partially by more than 60%, so that they had at 3 mph almost the feeling of standing. In contrast, the level of the 170 PTO hp was sufficient. Only in the mountains then the additional traction needed was not necessarily available.

But to make it short - Again a very good show!

Greetings Niklas
