The Esplanade is a pedestrian precinct at Marina Bay in the south of Singapore. All around Gibts theaters, opera, fine restaurants (for Chili Crab and Okonomiaki) and views of the bay and its new buildings.

Skyline at Clarke Quay Hotel and bank buildings is built in this region very much and very extravagant. The subway station is only open a few days and all around, new buildings. As a link between them this weekend, the double helix was opened, a pedestrian bridge over the bay. There was a huge crowd, a show which was offered and then finally in the evening could cross the bridge. When you get closer, I was quite fascinated by the bridge.
The processing of all compounds of this stainless steel construction amazed. Very nicely done organically. And yet we, the structure of the helix also remember that the architecture might be tempted just a copy of nature. In the Imitation is always unfinished, and yet eager to learn from their example of nature.
