Moin moin,
am after a very successful week with Burks Tractor in Caldwell, ID I am now in Twin Falls, ID . Our dealer here is also Burks Tractor. Last Wednesday I went with raindrops on the windshield of Caldwell to Twin Falls.
Previously, we had six good demonstrations, mostly in straw, but also again in alfalfa hay along the Snake River. In the straw I could weights of up to 1150 achieve lbs (522 kg), which was the competition with his 4x4ft (1.2 x 1.2 meters Kanalmaß) even at 1250 lbs (568 kg). In alfalfa, I then again an 8 ft. (2.4 meters) long ball down to 2035 lbs (925kg) to the field.
The customers were all very impressed by the Crown Press, which also unfortunately still not very well known. But to change that, I'm on the road. " went
After a site visit to the yarn manufacturer Bridon in Jerome then on Wednesday afternoon in the U.S. at "base jumpers" known Perrine Bridge.
The Bridge spans the 150 meters deep Snake River Canyon and the view from the bridge into the canyon is very impressive.
On the other side of Twin Falls, we have then reached the location of our dealer and a BiG M400 has shown me directly that I'm right here.
Thursday we had then something else. The Idaho State University was invited to a field day, which is primarily about the theme of "silage" and "shredding" was. In addition to several presentations was the afternoon a Demonstration planned. In addition to a BiG X1000 with EasyCollect 7500 we had a BiG M400, taken a BiG Pack 12130 and my road show trailer. The JCB was unfortunately not as a case of Burks Tractor Dealers of time - otherwise I would have the course shown.
corona were still shredder and other equipment of Hew Holland, Claas and John Deere represented.
After the presentations and lunch, it should then after a brief presentation of the companies in the practical part - go - that is, the field demonstration. Lustig was here that the top dogs John Deere, New Holland and Claas have unfortunately built up the wrong way. They had their machines in the morning the previous day to be parked in that direction all the tent was set up. The presentation and representation of individual producers but felt rather than on the other side. But as the saying goes, even a back can delight. By the way - was the right way round crown, and our road show trailer with the slogan "Operate the Best, outperform the rest" was virtually the back wall.
was then followed it to play - this time included a picture of the BiG X:
Until our joy Harsewinkel well actually it all at once - the green seeds were some problems with their exhibit!
The flap would somehow work only with massive crowbar support ;-)
Later, she then decided you would prefer to play with. Unfortunately, the corn-performance area due to the cool weather in spring was not as high as in fact this time of year, and 2.5 acres (1 ha) is also not very great. We were allowed to anhäckseln in any case, and the BiG X has made it a very good figure. Incidentally, the shredded material was left on the field, since the small crowd was not to good use. Here are some impressions:
The Friends of New Holland would then sometimes show that they can do it most - and because the field was small, have containing about half the audience a shower of wet chopped corn-get of course FREE and FREE!
Finally, could then also ran the Green Hell ...
Since the demonstration area was quite small, the organizer has offered to be able to show the machines or on a neighboring Sudan grass field when we want. While none of us had experience with Sudan grass and collect the easy, since the material usually cut with the Big M, and is then taken with the pick up, but a height of about 4 ft (1.2 meters) sounded to us very feasible. And also: No risk, no fun! There's nothing to lose!
And then the field was really cool. Again we all have left the lead.
It looked at us, as is the BiG X with up to 12 mph moved through the field. Spectacular!
how it looked in the other of:
Two attempts - two times failed. Maybe six feet harvested - two times three to clog!
A round passable completely, then at the beginning of the second round closely. After several paint reverse-feeding - reversing - pulling free again, but after another half-track was then for good.
In astonished eyes of many visitors we have then quickly chopped the field ready. The bright green and yellow had something else to do, and the yellow with the wheels had already turned in the box entrance, as they have seen that with the Yellow nearly the same teeth had no chance.
The EasyCollect however did a great job!
So much for the field day!
Since Friday, unfortunately, no demo was scheduled, there is usually not too much enriches. Perhaps last but not the picture of a happy customer Krone, who made his BiG Pack 1290 XC front of a great panorama his pads.
So much for the moment!
around!
