In Tokyo, the leaves have discolored and begin to fall. There is a group of people here - I do not know how to describe those who are always in any uniform on any side of the road, once they wave by the transport user on a small site, other times they stand there only, and again another time how these days, they collect autumn leaves into large bags, so that the whole streets remain completely leafless. Only on the university campus are still leaves.
This is a picture of the ancient, threatened by extinction Ginkgo tree in front of my building. The leaf of this living fossil also adorns the seal of the University of Tokyo. And rightly so.
